Sarawak Energy has been invited to participate in the recent seminar that was organized by the Forest Department Sarawak (FDS) with the support from the Ministry of Resource Planning and Environment Sarawak and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment Malaysia.
The two-day seminar was held from 7th to 8th December at Pullman Hotel, Kuching and about 250 participants were invited to attend the Seminar from various multi stakeholders both government agencies and NGOs.

This is also a great opportunity for the State to adopt a landscape conservation approach where the conservation of wildlife is done together with the local communities and land owners. The success of this approach is critical as the way forward in terms of wildlife conservation where community empowerment is practised.
